Stop the illegal Housing Development KNS Ethos near Chamundi Hills

Please Help Stop the illegal Housing Development KNS Ethos near Chamundi Hills being built on stolen public land in green zone not suited for housing.

Please Fill this Form to Help Preserve Chamundi Hills from Illegal Developments

The land around Chamundi Hills belongs to the Mysore Palace, to be kept undeveloped as open forest area, as per the Treaty between Indian Government and Mysore Maharaja at the time of accession and privy purse agreements. Even Dodda Kere belongs to Mysore Palace. Mysore Palace and general public should sue the government and stop this unscrupulous development by KNS Ethos, who are trying to grab the public land around Chamundi Hills to unwisely build an illegal housing on stolen land in a zone not at all suited for housing, being next to burial place and cremation grounds. Allowing housing in that area clearly goes against City Master Plan and Zoning Laws.

According to the Treaty of Accession, the land around Chamundi Hills stretching all the way towards the Palace is the property of Mysore Palace, with the condition that Palace should leave it as Kharab land (open forest catchment area) for perpetuity.

Please help stop this illegal housing development on stolen public land, especially around sacred and inspiring places like Chamundi Hills and Mysore Palace. Please inform the newspapers and political leaders.

  1. All illegal developments around Chamundi Hills should be razed down, as was done in Cochin.
