Do not use Rythm Pad or Drumsets in Indian Classical and Light Music

Lately, some classical, light and fusion music groups are using rhythm pad and drum sets, which totally drowns out Tabla and singers' voices. It is not traditional and pleasant to replace the wonderful Indian rhythm instruments with western instruments. The rhythm movements of Tabla and Mrudangam are unmatchable and suit well for Indian music. Some western instruments like violin have been adopted well in Indian music. But, loud rhythm pads and drum sets sound terrible and monotonous, drowning out all other instruments and even singer's voices.

In Indian classical, light and bhava geete music recordings and concerts, please don't replace Mrudangam and Tabla with Drums or Rhythm Pad, which sound flat and takes out the beauty of Indian drums from Indian music. When played together with Tabla, loud rhythm pads and drums totally drown out the beautiful variations of Tabla. Bhave Geete and Classical musicians should use Indian drums.  🙏
